Radiology society lifts weight loss study embargo early after LA Times break

rsnaThe Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) has lifted the embargo early on a study scheduled to be presented at its annual meeting in Chicago next week.

From an email sent to media by the RSNA Saturday morning, November 23:

Due to an embargo break, we are lifting the embargo on the story Embolization Procedure Aids in Weight Loss, effective immediately. You may access all materials related to the study by visiting the RSNA newsroom…

Embargoes for all other studies remain in place.

The RSNA says it was a story by the Los Angeles Times that broke the embargo. That story now has a November 25 dateline, but Google News has it going live on November 20.
